On the program this week: Enoch Doyle Jeter, co-founder/former co-owner of Enoch’s in Monroe, LA. Doyle and his wife Yvette started Enoch’s, a renowned venue/pub/cafe with incarnations in Monroe and Shreveport. The Jeters started Enoch’s in 1980 in Monroe, and are still operating as an Irish/Cajun Pub with their son John taking ownership a year ago.
Doyle and Yvette have always been champions of live music and the arts on the I-20 scene in Louisiana. Doyle gives us a whirlwind tour of his journey from the Lower East Side of NYC, to Louisiana, his trips to Austin, Las Vegas (New Mexico), and back home to Louisiana. Doyle has also had an amazing second career as a visual artist and art instructor.
